policies, expectations & agreements
Program Format
Training programs may include a combination of in-person instruction, virtual learning sessions, independent study, group work, and practice teaching assignments. Students are expected to participate fully in all required components of the program.
Teacher Certification Agreement
Upon successful completion of all program requirements and payment obligations, students will receive a Certificate of Completion for the Attuned Wisdom 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program, which may be used toward Yoga Alliance registration where applicable.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
By participating in this yoga teacher training program, you:

Acknowledge that participation in yoga, movement practices, breathwork, meditation, and related activities involves inherent physical and emotional risks, and voluntarily choose to participate in the Attuned Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training Program and assume full responsibility for your participation.

Affirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in yoga instruction and related training activities, and understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a physician or qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns prior to participation.

Agree that Attuned Wisdom School of Yoga, its owner(s), instructors, assistants, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be held liable for injuries, damages, losses, or claims arising from your participation in this training or use of the premises.

Understand that you should stop participation immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, or discomfort.

Knowingly and voluntarily release and discharge Attuned Wisdom School of Yoga and all associated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, causes of action, or damages arising from participation in this program.

Acknowledge that yoga instruction and wellness education are not substitutes for medical or psychological care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Attendance, Tuition and Program Policies
Attuned Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training Programs include scheduled training weekends, independent study, reading assignments, practice teaching, class observations, and additional coursework outside of classroom hours.

Consistent attendance and participation are required for certification.

Approximately 5–10 hours per week may be needed outside of training sessions for reading, homework, study, and practice teaching.

Completion of all assignments, required hours, and evaluations is necessary to receive certification.

Graduation from this training does not guarantee employment.

Tuition deposits are non-refundable.

Refunds or transfers may be considered only in extenuating circumstances and at the discretion of Attuned Wisdom.

Make-up work or additional fees may apply for missed hours.

Attuned Wisdom reserves the right to dismiss a student from the program, without refund, for unethical conduct, plagiarism, harassment, repeated disruption, or behavior that negatively impacts the learning environment.

All training materials are copyrighted and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

As a participant in an Attuned Wisdom Yoga Teacher Training Program, you agree to:

Foster a supportive, inclusive, and compassionate learning environment.

Respect confidentiality within group discussions and shared experiences.

Maintain healthy personal and professional boundaries.

Communicate honestly and respectfully with teachers and fellow trainees.

Care for studio property, props, and shared spaces.

Honor diversity and welcome varying perspectives and lived experiences.

Refrain from discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate conduct of any kind.

Represent yourself ethically and honestly in all professional yoga-related settings.

Continue personal study and growth beyond certification.

Avoid providing medical or psychological advice unless professionally licensed to do so.

Understand that student-teacher relationships involve responsibility, trust, and professional boundaries, and that any form of harassment, coercion, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct is strictly prohibited.
